Mifco's two major export products have been canned and
frozen tuna. Mifco's major markets are the European Union for canned
and fresh production and ASEAN destinations for bulk exports of Frozen
Raw Material. In each of these markets Mifco works to engage more then
one single buyer for any particular product. This particular emphasis
stem from the Mifco's marketing philosophy of not being dependent on
any one buyer or market for its export base.
Mifco has also maintained a sustained presence in the local market. The "Fasmeeru"
series of products including canned fish, fish paste (Rihaakuru), fish
chips and other related products have gained acceptance as hygienic,
high quality reasonably priced products.
